Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) ~ Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

 

American Council on Alcoholism ~ Educates the public about the effects of alcohol, alcoholism, alcohol abuse, and the need for prompt, effective, readily-available, and affordable alcoholism treatment.
 

Boaters Against Drunk Driving ~ National safety organization dedicated to public awareness for safe, sober and responsible boating throughout the United States and Canada. BADD has chapters in 38 states in the USA.

 

Campaign for Alcohol-Free Sports TV ~ Seeks to reduce the amount of alcoholic beverage advertising to underage children and young adults who tune into televised sports.  Currently, 246 schools and 2 conferences have signed a pledge to eliminate alcohol ads from college sports.

Underage Drinking Enforcement Training Center ~ Helps to increase the effectiveness of states and local communities in their efforts to enforce underage drinking laws, prevent underage drinking, and eliminate the devastating consequences associated with alcohol use by underage youth by providing science-based, practical, and effective training and technical assistance services.
